Somali Act for Welfare and Development Actions (SAWDA) is a youth-run, youth-led non-governmental organization registered in Somalia. Established on October 18, 2017, SAWDA has been committed to promoting sustainable community development programs that address the most pressing humanitarian and development challenges facing communities across South-Central Somalia.
Grounded in the principle that United We Stand, Divided We Fall, SAWDA works in close partnership with communities, local government, UN agencies, and international organizations to deliver integrated, inclusive, and accountable programs that build long-term resilience.
